Tervetuloa nauttimaan tanssillisesta burleskista sateenkaarevissa tunnelmissa Jyväskyläläisen queerlesque artistin ja burleskin ammattilaisen Rosetta Sweetin ohjauksessa. Tällä avoimen tason tunnilla teemme helpon, energisen tanssillisen burleskikoreografian jossa luistelemme kepeästi ja iloisesti sekä feminiinisemmän, että maksuliinisemman ilmaisun välillä. Tunnille ovat tervetulleita kaikki, jotka haluavat nauttia burleskin riemusta turvallisessa ja sallivassa ympäristössä.

Have you ever wondered what drag, burlesque, and the great outdoors have in common? Why it’s camp of course! Come to our bug-free, definitely-indoors venue to learn what makes camp a cornerstone to drag and burlesque and how to utilize it to make your art pop! Screw the birds and the bees! It’s time to talk absurdity, expression, and character. Your instructor is none other than Rin – a widely acknowledged campy “lil guy”. They love nothing more than to subvert audience expectations and play with cultural references. So come spend a little time to learn about camp and how this queer aesthetic can pump up your art. (Being a performer/artist is not required, all levels and abilities are welcome. If you’re just a curious person and want to learn about camp, you too are welcome!)
